Clip as you browse
One click on any page: like it, pass, or love it, add a note, and keep a screenshot of what's on screen. It lands on your board, or at the front of your deck if you just clip it.
For desktop Chrome, Edge, Brave and Arc. Firefox works too, for now only until you restart it.
This copy is set up for a different address. After installing, open the extension's Settings and set the board address to .
Install it in Chrome, Edge, Brave or Arc
- Download the zip above and unzip it. You get a folder.
- Open
chrome://extensionsin a new tab (Edge:edge://extensions). - Turn on Developer mode, top right.
- Click Load unpacked and pick the folder you unzipped.
- Click the puzzle piece in the toolbar and pin Taste board, so its icon stays in sight.
- Open your board once, then click the icon on any site.
Firefox
Open about:debugging#/runtime/this-firefox, click Load Temporary Add-on and pick manifest.json in the unzipped folder. Firefox removes it when it restarts, until the extension is on the add-ons site.
Updates
An extension loaded this way doesn't update itself. For a newer version, download it again, replace the folder, and click the reload arrow on its card in chrome://extensions.
On a phone
The extension is for desktop browsers. On a phone, use the share sheet instead. On Android, open the board, add it to your home screen from the browser menu, and any site's Share menu then offers Taste. On iPhone, copy the site's link and paste it under Board → Add a site.
Where clips go
Without an account, a clip goes to the taste board open in that browser (the extension opens it if needed) and stays in that browser, like everything else.
With an account, clips can go straight to your account and sync to all your devices. On your board's Account page, under Connect your AI, make a token with 'Also let it add reactions' ticked, then paste it into the extension's Settings.
No extension? On a computer, the bookmarklet under Board → Add a site does the same.
